The Amador Vintner's Association "Four Fires" event features the diversity of the region by showcasing the wines of Italy, Spain, France and the Sierra Foothills.
We're doing our own tribute beginning May 10th with Italy. Each day we'll feature a grape variety that we raise that is also grown in Italy. We'll recommend a recipe to pair or provide small bites, using imported gourmet foods from our tasting room, as follows:
May 10 - (Friuli) 2022 Sauvignon blanc/ Risotto con Gamberi e Asparagi recipe featuring Riso Acquerello
May 11 - (Puglia) 2022 Rosato/ small bites featuring Castelvatrano olives, pecorino cheese and tarallini crackers
May 12 - (Various) Sangiovese, Barbera & Italian Blends/regional pasta recipes using our artiginale pasta
May 13 - (Various) Late harvest Zinfandel Dolce/small bites featuring biscotti and affogato (gelato with caffe)
